Design Specifications
White Effect: 3 options (free of charge)
If you want a white effect for your custom temporary tattoo, then white ink must be printed. Please specify No White, Spot White or Flood White for your design. Click here for examples of white effect options
No White
The design area is transparent (the white tattoo paper backing is visible) but will transfer clear on the skin and be skin tone.
Spot White
White ink is only printed in specific parts of the design. For example eyes will actually look white when transferred, but no white will be behind the design.
Flood White
White covers the entire image (not the background) and once transferred looks more brilliant in color because the layer of white makes the image more opaque. On tattoo paper the image will appear 'milky'.
Disk/Email
- Disks must be accompanied by a printout.
- Please send your artwork using CMYK defined colors at 300 ppi, or better. Saved as EPS or TIFF.
- We accept the following Macintosh disks: 3.5" Floppy / Zip 100, CD, or DVD.
- Provide the application file and all associated support files. We accept files from the following software Programs: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Please export Macromedia FreeHand files to Illustrator format.
- Provide all screen and printer fonts. (Both the font suitcase and the postscript font are required). Please Convert PC fonts to outlines prior to submittal.

- Provide artwork at 100% or greater of actual size
- When there is more than one (1) image, we prefer that all images have the same size reduction and be in position on one (1) artboard.
Quantities 10,000 or over can be made up of different designs in multiples of 5000 per design (call your sales consultant). Please indicate in artwork description below what your designs are. All tattoos are printed in four-color process with no setup charges. White is an optional 5th color, now FREE! Please indicate where white should be. All tattoo sizes can be rotated 90 degrees.
Important Notes
- Approved design artwork and purchase orders need to be in no later than Tuesday for shipment on Thursday of the following week.
- All design art work will be maximized by us, within the printable area unless specified on your purchase order.
- We will not be responsible for color changes if the design art is sent in RGB format instead of CMYK. When the art is converted, colors may vary.

Terms and Conditions
Pricing
PRICES may change without notice. All prices are effective and firm only as indicated by our acknowledgment. Typesetting and final artwork will be quoted upon review of customer layout and specifications. For custom sizes or larger quantities please contact us at 403-454-1530. All pricing is in Canadian funds. Delivery and taxes not included in unit price.
Ordering
Temporary Tattoos Inc. believes in personal service. One of our professional sales consultants will fill out a purchase form for you. Sales consultants will provide full quotes when requested.
Purchase Confirmation
We will acknowledge your purchase order within 24 hours of receipt. Please review carefully to ensure we have understood your instructions fully and fax/e-mail back any changes required. You do not have to fax/e-mail back if no changes are required. Our acknowledgement is considered final confirmation of purchase and we will proceed with the order as stated.
Artwork files
Please send your artwork to your sales consultant in electronic format on disk or e-mail in the following formats: All artwork should be CMYK 4-color process (RGB files are designed for viewing on a monitor). Adobe Illustrator 8.0 EPS or Adobe Photoshop 5.0 TIFF 300 dpi color-corrected CMYK. Include all embedded and linked files and all fonts. If the files are not Macintosh, turn the fonts into outlines or curves.
Responsibility
If final artwork is not furnished as above, the factory reserves the right to arrange copy elements and not be responsible for conflicting or ambiguous instructions or materials supplied by customer. Temporary Tattoos Inc. is not responsible for errors due to handwritten copy. Customer corrections or alterations will require additional charges.
Customer disk requirements
Floppy, CD, or Zip disk. A B&W or color proof of your artwork and a printout of your disk directory would also be helpful.
Critical Delivery Dates
Dates must be approved and confirmed by Temporary Tattoos Inc. We will not be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control that do not allow us to make the critical delivery date. Order will be invoiced and payment expected.
Method of Delivery
We will ship via our discretion. Please furnish your address shipping information. The quantity of labels required will be indicated on the quotation. Providing that we have shipped as instructed and on time, our responsibility ends when your order is received and signed for by the carrier in accordance with our written schedule.
Payment Terms
All first orders with Temporary Tattoos Inc. require a 50% deposit with the balance COD.
Over/Under Runs
All orders are subject to a 5% over/under run and will be considered complete.
Returned Goods/Cancellations and Changes
Orders may not be returned without authorization. If there is a problem with an order, you must notify Temporary Tattoos Inc. within 10 working days from receipt of order. Cancellations and changes will be invoiced for all work completed. Charges are subject to complexity of production and will be quoted promptly upon review.
